Rebyc: Summer Southwestern Tapestry Bag LOVIN’

15 Jun

I adore a beautiful handmade bag! So it’s no surprise that I’m swooning over my new summer tote – the Josephine Southwestern Tapestry Bag designed by ‘Rebyc‘.  Rebyc is a handbag collection sold exclusively on Esty. The brilliant designer Stephany Childers (featured on my blog a couple of months ago) creates lovely, one-of-a-kind, orignal handbags. No two bags are alike. Her bags are eco-friendly, gorgeous, unique, and made from impeccable recycled leathers and fabrics. I love the idea of carrying a bag, that noone else will have! Check out the entire collection of ‘Rebyc’ bags HERE

Big Spender Vs. Penny Pincher

26 Apr

I’m loving this Marc Jacobs – 1984 satchel bag. At the moment I don’t have an extra $1500 lying around to purchase a new handbag. So, I did a little research on new favorite site (Etsy) and found a similar less expensive bag. It’s a 60’s vintage frame bag. It doesn’t have the designer name but it sure has that lovely classic style. I present to you a new series on my blog called – BIG SPENDER Vs. PENNY PINCHER. Which bag do you prefer.

Etsy Spotlight: Little Black Straw Bag

I’ve been slacking a bit on my ”Etsy Spotlight” posts. Here’s a sweet little black bag I spotted on the creative shopping site. This is the perfect bag for a summer date with your Boo. It’s only $25, which makes it a steal for a vintage straw bag. Buy it here

Etsy Spotlight: Scarf Obsession

23 Oct

I’m a lover of scarves. Printed, solid colors, silk, whatever the fabric or color I’m game! I own loads of scarves and add to my collection regularly. Imagine my surprise when I came across a glorious scarf shop on Etsy called ScarfObsession! I’m in love with this shop! Not only do they offer a grand selection of gorgeous printed scarves but they’re prices are brilliant! Wait for it, wait for it…..each scarf sells for $29 to $34! That’s practically FREE! Ok, so maybe I’m being a little over dramatic about how good the prices are.  Anyway, I’ve already ordered the plaid infinity scarf below. Can’t wait to style it with my black leather moto jacket and some skinnies. Holla!

Etsy Spotlight: Papelle (Halloween Greeting Cards)

1 Oct

Have I told you all how much I LOVE greeting cards? I really love them! I love sending them, I love getting them, I love reading them, sometimes I like to read other people’s card. Ok, I’m joking about reading other people’s card – I’m not nosey. Well, I’m only nosey when it comes to my siblings. Hey, old habits are hard to break. Moving on……

Let me introduce to you Papelle, a beautifully curated card shop on Etsy. These unique and fun cards are designed by one seriously talented woman. I adore the color selection and the playful fonts. The Card Designer is amazing and can also whip up some really beatuiful custom invitations. Now, that should peak the interest of anyone who’s newly engaged folks. Papelle’s prices are so reasonable, almost too resonable. They start at $1.50 per card.  When’s the last time you brought a super cute quality greeting card for a $1.50! I’m ordering the “ghost card” for Halloween! BOO!
